For 13 years I taught classes in general fabrication (Beginning-Advanced), Enameling, Independent Studio, and a host of workshops touched on via the Teaching page. I volunteered my time to build and maintain a companion website for the metal studio classes (no longer active), prepped enamel ornaments for festival activities, and participated in various MAC-supported shows/sales.

Teacher of record for 2 Art Appreciation classes (120+ students). Duties included preparing and giving lectures, creating syllabi and tests and grading tests and research papers.
Curator: Art Slide Library
Through a special grant created to comply with NASAD accreditation, I re-organized and re-catalogued 20,000+ slides using FileMaker Pro, developing and implementing the cataloging structure which was then used online for students and faculty to find and request slides. Extensive research was required along with my existing knowledge base to accurately label mislabeled, partially labeled, un-translated foreign and unlabeled slides, which comprised a significant percentage of the collection. I was also responsible for augmenting the collection where I deemed necessary with a purchase grant of $15,000.

Selected Teaching Experience
As the Artist in Residence at the Phoenix Center for the Arts from 2004- 2007 and at the Mesa Arts Center (MAC) from 2007 to 2020, I taught a multitude of classes too numerous to detail here, including: intro to beginning and advanced metals, enameling and casting; and workshops including: etching, chain making, soldering, stone setting, fold forming and electro-forming.
